In 11 villages in the Zindajan district, all homes were decimated, 1,294 people have died and 1,688 are injured. Another 485 other persons are listed as missing. In total, 12,110 people have been impacted in the districts of Gulran, Injil, Kohsan, Kushk Robat-eSagani, and Zindajan. The precise number of fatalities and homes/properties damaged is yet unknown, despite continuous search-and-rescue efforts.
