Women’s College Basketball

With the fall season settling in, you can expect for some “edge of your seat” games in this
year’s NCAA Women’s Basketball. With some star players to watch like Hailey Van Lith, Paige
Bueckers, Angel Reece, Caitilin Clark, and many more, these top in the country players, gave
fans nail biting games, even sparking controversy with the last years game of the NCAA
championships; with the matchup of LSU Tigers and Iowa Hawkeyes, social media raved about
the interactions shared from both Caitlin Clark and Angel Reece.

The first games kick off on November 6th, you can tune into games like South Carolina
vs Notre Dame; with one of the top point guards in the state and ranked 8th on ESPN, Olivia
Miles and with some incoming ranked freshmen adding to the fighting Irish’s team Hannah
Hidalgo (ranked 5th) and Emma Risch (ranked 20th). This team can for sure give South Carolina
a challenge, with losing some of their star seniors, like Zia Cooke and Aliyah Boston, but
however gaining MiLaysia Fulwiley ranked no.3 in “top point guards in the nation” category, and
ranked 13 overall in ESPN’s Top 100 2023 graduate highschool players. Another game to
definitely watch is the University of Southern California vs Ohio state. With the number one
ranked player for the graduating class of 2023, JuJu Watkins had committed to Southern Cal. It’ll
be exciting to see how the incoming freshman will adapt to the change from highschool to D1
collegiate basketball, and how they will dominate the court.

With this new and exciting season of NCAA Women’s basketball, fans can expect to see
fiery match ups with incoming players, and old rivalries. Will LSU go undefeated this year? Can

we expect to see Paige Beuckers and Azzy Fudd on the same court again for UConn this year?
